For those that find it uncomfortable wearing a rigid forearm guard, the Hybrid Sweatband offers a level of protection due to the high impact  foam (encased within the sweatband) if struck, whilst still allowing you to mop your brow with it during that prolonged innings.  

They are machine washable at 30 degrees.
