if you've been looking for a ring that's the perfect shape to stack between seemingly unstackable statement rings — this is it! after a couple months wearing the prototype it earned its place in stacks daily, because it truly does stack with everything. a few photos of inspirational stacks enabled by this snake band are shared here

these grinning snakes are modeled after a band from a vintage ring, and then modified to have a slightly more rustic finish and texture. the eyes have tiny facets like they're stones, but rest assured the whole ring is solid 14k yellow gold. 

these are produced via lost wax casting & then hand finished at the base of the band where it was separated from the casting sprue. they have an organic, rustic, imperfect surface texture by design, not a shiny, polished finish

if you love perfection — this is NOT the design for you. if you love rustic, handmade, organic forms then this might be the design for you. the band isn't perfectly level, which gives the band more of a snake body feel

M E A S U R E M E N T S 

the ready-to-ship design is currently size 6.5 on a mandrel, but fits more like size 6.75-7 because of the open space between the snake heads. 14k yellow gold is soft enough so this ring's size can be adjusted slightly by moving the snake heads closer together or farther apart. metal under repeated stress will crack/fracture, so the size adjustment should be made once, not repeatedly. sizing beyond two sizes up or down would need to be done by a metalsmith. if you need help with sizing please send a message here or on IG to chat about sizing timeline.

this is a handmade item and there are small variations between pieces because of hand finishing, though each is cast from the same mold.
